Trent

Sub Staff

Hi, my name is Trent Hansen. I just finished my degree at the U in data science. I have attended WKC since I was 5 and absolutely love camp!!  I love music, swimming, boating, camping, computers, gaming, and nature.  My 3 younger siblings and younger cousins love to play with me at family gatherings. I am so excited to be a counselor this year as we explore fun adventures together.

Olivia

Hi! My name is Olivia, and I attend USU, studying psychology. I love hikes, gardening, and anything outdoors. I also love reading, writing, and playing sports! I am so excited about this summer, I know it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Hi, I’m Anthea!!! This will be my third summer with Wasatch Kids!  I spend my time skating, snowboarding, and singing, I love camping, hiking and doing anything outdoors!!!

Gunnar

Hey! My name is Gunnar, and I am super excited to be back for my third year at camp. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and child development, and I am currently a master’s student at the University of Utah. I find joy in nature, staying active, and expressing myself through art!  In my free time, I love reading, being outdoors, and baking.  This summer will be great!  

Jeremy

Sub Driver

Hi, my name is Jeremy. This is my third year at Wasatch Kids Camp. I had a blast at camp last year! I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for all the campers and myself, and I’m even more excited to see what the future years hold for myself and future campers at camp.

I have 2 daughters, both of whom will be attending camp this year. In my spare time, I love to go bowling, go-karting, golfing, and relaxing, among other things.

I currently drive for Canyons School District during the school year. However, I have been driving commercial vehicles for 13 ½ years, from small paratransit buses to school buses and even all the way up to operating trains for UTA. So, it’s safe to say your kids will be in good hands this summer, not only with myself, but with all of my bus driver co-workers and counselors here at Wasatch Kids Camp!!

Hi friends! My name is Kate! I love the natural world, adventures, and people, so I’m super psyched about working with the kids this summer! On any given day above 50 degrees, you can catch me in my backyard, usually in a hammock or laying in the grass. Other hobbies include hiking, climbing, art, and volunteering.  I’m studying Environmental Science and Mandarin at USU, and the career goal is to do something to help communities live sustainably. Can’t wait for the adventures this summer!

Hello everyone! My name is Sara, and I’m originally from Maine! I was drawn to Utah because
of the beautiful mountains and vast desert. In the winter, I work as a youth snowboard
instructor at Park City Canyons! I graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2023
with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts. I have a passion for the outdoors, and that’s where most of
my free time is spent. My other hobbies include crocheting, jewelry making, and reading!
