Monday June 15
AM-Travel
Meet at Murray Park between 8 and 9am for drop off, find a travel camp staff to check in with. :)
Are you ready for a week of red rock, exploring, friends, and fun!? We are!! We will load our gear and hop onto the bus this morning and head south for fun in the sun. Along the way will will eat our sack lunches and enjoy hanging with our friends new and old. Before long, we will arrive at our beautiful Watchman Group Campground and set up camp.
PM-Set Up Camp
After we set up camp we will walk over to the Watchman Trailhead and take a relaxing hike close to homebase to soak in some of the local beauty. When our tummies start to growl, we’ll head back to camp and fix a filling dinner of hot dogs, hamburgers, and all the fixins! YUM! The stars will be spectacular as we settle down for the first night of this fun travel adventure….

Tuesday June 16
AM-Visitor's Center and Weeping Rock
We’re ready for fun this morning, but not until we’ve had a delicious breakfast! Our first stop will be the Zion Canyon Visitor Center and Museum where we will learn a little about the amazing things the park has to offer. After that, we’ll hop aboard a Zion Canyon Shuttle and head up the canyon to take a short walk to see the incredible Weeping Rock. It’s a natural wonder and you won’t believe your eyes when you see the water pouring out off the cliffside…..it’s pretty magical, especially when you walk under it and get a refreshing shower!
PM-Narrows Bottom Up Hike
Next we will head back to the bus so we can take the short drive to the narrows to do some canyoneering. On the way, we’ll have our yummy sack lunches that we made this morning. The afternoon will fly by as we explore the canyon, and before you know it, we’ll need to head back to camp to enjoy a delicious homemade dinner! What a busy day, we’ll sleep well tonight!

Wednesday June 17
AM-Canyon Overlook Trail
Today we’ll start things off right with a big breakfast to get fueled for this morning’s adventure. We’re off to Canyon Overlook Trail for some amazing views! Get your photo smile ready!!
PM-Pine Creek Swimming Hole
Then we’ll have our yummy sack lunches and head to Pine Creek Swimming Hole to spend the rest of the afternoon cooling off in this refreshing water, what a great day!

Thursday June 18
AM-Emerald Pools Hike
After breakfast and getting ready, we’re off to the Emerald Pools Hike. The 2 mile round trip trail leads to sparkling waterfalls and glistening pools. Majestic sights can be seen all along the trails, including views of Lady Mountain, the Great White Throne, and Red Arch Mountain. What a great way to spend the morning!
PM-Sand Hollow Aquatic Center
After lunch, we’ll pack a change of clothes and head to Sand Hollow Aquatic Center to do a little indoor swimming. After getting a nice warm shower and some fresh clothes we will head into town to eat a delicious dinner with our travel buddies! What an awesome day !!

Friday June 19
AM-Pack up Camp
It’s time to pack up, say goodbye to the amazing red rock scenery, and head home….but first, we need to pack up and eat! Once we’re nice and full and camp is taken down, we’ll hop on the bus and head back toward Salt Lake.
PM-Travel Home
If we have time wouldn't it be great to stop for a delicious shakes at Rowley's Red Barn! YUM!
Pick up is from 4-5pm at Murray Park. We will text/email any updates!
