Crazy Colors Week
Trailblazers June 21-25 (WEEK 3)
Monday
This is the Place State Monument/Pioneer Village-a.m.
Our Trailblazers will visit this living historic village that recreates a typical community between 1847 and 1869. They will see the sights of daily pioneer life and visit adobe houses, shops, schools, churches and sites of cultural activities. Our morning will be completed with a train ride before lunch. CHOO CHOO!!
This is the Place Cont. - p.m.
After eating lunch at the picnic tables in the Bowery, we'll split into groups and tour the park as we please! We'll learn more about how the pioneers lived, how much fun! We can even try to pull one of the old-fashioned handcarts! what a colorful day with our counselors!

Tuesday
Jordan Landing Movie Club - a.m.
Bee Movie
You're in for a treat this morning! This hilarious movie will have you rolling in the aisles with it's creative comedy. Our counselors will bring everyone a sweet movie treat to enjoy while we enjoy our movie in the cool theatre.
Swimming Lessons at Oquirrh Park Fitness Center - p.m.
It's time again for our weekly swimming lesson at OPFC. We will split into three groups and take turns doing our lessons. After we've all had our turn with the lessons, it will be time for free swim and we can all practice our newly learned techniques. Fun, Fun, Fun!

Wednesday
Tye Dye Art Project - a.m.
There will be no lack of CRAZY bright COLORS today as we turn our white shirts, pillowcases, socks and more into swirls of beautiful rainbow colors. It will be so neat to see how our shirts turn out in a day or two, they are sure to bring a lot of color to all our wardrobes. CRAZY!
Hollywood Connection - p.m.
Our Trailblazer's will have a colorful afternoon at Hollywood connection, hanging out at one of the hottest spots of the summer. It will be unlimited rides, roller skating, and mini golf. Yes, unlimited, so let's get ready to have some FUN!!

Thursday
Red Butte Gardens-a.m.
We will get to see lots of CRAZY cool things this afternoon as we stroll along the paths through Red Butte Gardens. There is a great smelling herb garden, waterfalls, and ponds. We will be sure to check out the cool children's garden complete with a water spirting snake, CRAZY!
Utah Arts Festival-p.m.
WOW, this is a real treat to get to go and see all of the amazing art at the annual art festival! There will be artists from near and far displaying and selling their art for us to enjoy! FUN!

Friday
Salt Lake Library Tour/Storytime - a.m.
We are so lucky this morning to get to tour the coolest library around. We will be taken on a private tour through our new city library that will include a roof top view. WOW, Look at all those colors! Then we will all settle down and listen to a few stories the kind librarians have chosen just for us. Libraries are awesome!
Swimming at Dimple Dell Indoor Pool - p.m.
We will make a splash this afternoon at this cool indoor pool. Perfect for all ages this pool has it all, water slide, lazy river, shallow area for wading and playing and a deeper end for our more experienced swimmers. Zero depth entry, swimming counselors and lots of lifeguards make for a splashy safe afternoon.
